Is your website showing what the law says it must?
Letting agents in England must publish certain things on their website. We check yours, tell you what we couldn't find, and fix it if you'd like us to.
What we check
| Item | Where the rule comes from |
|---|---|
| A list of your fees, with each amount shown including VAT | Consumer Rights Act 2015, section 83 |
| Which redress scheme you belong to (The Property Ombudsman or the Property Redress Scheme) | Consumer Rights Act 2015, section 83 |
| A copy of your client money protection certificate | Client Money Protection Schemes for Property Agents Regulations 2019 |
Councils' trading standards teams enforce these rules. The law allows a penalty of up to £5,000 for each breach. How we check
Free report
We send you a short report with screenshots: what we found, what we couldn't find, and where each item would normally sit on your site. No obligation and no follow-up chasing.
Already had our email? Just reply "report". Otherwise email orla@njgconsultancy.com with your website address.
We fix it for you
£79 one-off
We draft the missing wording and certificate page for you to approve, then add it to your site or send it to your web designer. You pay only once it's live. Reply "fix it" to our email to start.
Franchises and multi-branch agents
We check every branch site weekly and fix changes as they happen: £25 per branch per month for 1 to 9 branches, £19 for 10 to 49, £15 for 50 or more.
