How we check
A result means "not found by our check". It isn't a finding that you've broken the law.
What we read
We read up to 12 public pages of your website: the home page, pages your sitemap lists, and pages linked as fees, landlords, tenants or client money. We follow your robots.txt. If your site blocks automated visitors we stop and record it as not checked. We never log in, fill in forms or get past any security check.
Two independent reads
A program looks for each item on the pages we read. An AI model then reads the same pages separately and must quote the exact words it relied on. We only count an item as missing when both reads agree. When they disagree, a person checks the site before we say anything.
What we can miss
Fees shown only as an image, pages behind a login, or wording we didn't recognise can make an item look missing when it isn't. If our report is wrong, tell us and we'll correct it.
